The 2020 LBPOA Elections Committee is delighted that you are planning to participate in this year's election process. Voting for Directors and Officers is an important part of helping our community be the best that it can be. This site has been set up to share information about the candidates and help property owners learn more about them so you can make an informed choice.
We will be voting for TWO DIRECTOR positions by means of an electronic ballot system (ElectionBuddy) or a paper ballot hand delivered to a drop box inside the Lake Bonanza community. We will not be relying on the postal mail to deliver ballots. All verified property owners will receive a ballot and voting instructions via email, postal mail and/or hand delivered to your home within the Lake Bonanza neighborhood.
Unopposed candidates (those with only one person nominated for a specific position) have already been declared the winners with no additional vote required.
The Texas Property Code Sec. 209.0058 (c) states: "In a property owners' association election, written and signed ballots are not required for uncontested races."
